Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor
Marianne has been a fitness instructor for nearly 22 years and a personal trainer for over 18 years. As a trainer she has worked with student athletes, sports groups, as well as pre-natal and post-surgical clients and has helped people reach their personal fitness and weight loss goals through exercise, nutrition and an active lifestyle. Marianne uses her multi-disciplinary background to design creative resistance and cardio routines to help burn calories and tone muscles. She enjoys teaching abs, kettlebells, spin, burn & tone, yoga, step and pilates and is certified in aquatic aerobics. Marianne’s activities include running, cycling, painting and cooking. She has competed in many 5k races, a half marathon and Bike to the Bay. She recently ran two 10 mile races and placed first in her age category in the Bottle and Cork 10 miler. She and her husband have lived in Middletown for 19 years where they have raised their 3 children and several dogs.
