Mike has been a part of The Village Gym since February 2003, when he signed up for a membership as a high school student and decided to make a lifestyle change. Mike started working as a Member Service Representative in October 2006 while in college, and was promoted to General Manager in October 2012. Since Mike to a full-time job teaching at a local middle school in the fall of 2017, he still helps out at the gym in his spare time. Mike has been an integral part of the gym’s growth through its 15 year anniversary, expansions/renovations, and member growth. In his leisure time, Mike can be found on the lacrosse field. He played college lacrosse at Delaware Technical and Community College and Wesley College. He was an NJCAA Academic All American and Team MVP at DTCC and a Team Captain and Academic All Conference Goalkeeper at Wesley College. Today, Mike is an Assistant Coach for the Appoquinimink High School Boys Lacrosse Team as well as a Rippin Rope Lacrosse Club Coach, Camp Instructor, Clinic Instructor, and Academic Tutor. Mike is a graduate of Middletown High School, Delaware Technical and Community College, and Wesley College. He holds two Associate in Applied Science degrees (Elementary Education and Paraeducation) from DTCC and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Wesley College.
